LIFE THROUGH A LENS.

I have all the footage etc, and the guys played the last ever ever show at Brixton with Alexisonfire at the end of last year (which I also filmed), but I’m not sure if they would all want to be interviewed for a feature. The band is over. I live with Jag and keep in close contact with Mem (everyone else is busy with other things) so I’ll probably see what Jag says, but the original idea behind the whole project was a documentary while they were together. Unfortunately the split happened near the end so I never got a chance to do the interviews. It’s a project which has no budget and right now I am snowed under with things like the new Deftones video and other larger projects. The Crime In Stereo DVD is just about to be put up on kickstarter and torrent sites, so that’s the only ‘free time’ project I’m doing. I’m also right in the middle of the Defeater documentary edit. So you can see what position I’m in. Like I always say, I’d love to just give free time to it, but I don’t have it, and I’ve got a responsibility to make sure my company keeps moving forward. But I will have a serious talk with Jag about it and see what he thinks. He was the head honcho so there’s no one better really to talk to. I’ll keep everyone posted, but I can’t see an edit happening within the next 6 months (being realistic). It’s something I’d like to get out though in the near future.
