I’ve spent a couple well earned rest days with my girlfriend checking out some of my favourite places in Cornwall this weekend just passed. We were lucky to get a day without any storm winds/rain (which have been battering my home county badly), so we ventured to Trelissick Gardens (pictured) after we took the King Harry ferry across the river Fal to get some lunch in the port town of St Mawes. I honestly can’t put into words how good it was to have a couple days off from a schedule which quite frankly has been exhausting me for the last month. The day after we managed to check out further down the coast at Mousehole which is somewhere I would love to live one day. Anyways, I’ll post some other pictures on the blog shortly to give a flavour of the things we saw and checked out.
I’ve learned this year that time off is important. Keeps your mind fresh.
