I love this behind the scenes documentary. I always try and keep things light hearted and funny on set when I’m working, even if it’s at my own expense. But when I watch things like this there is somewhat, a sort of, relief that comes over me. I understand that things are on the right track as far as productions and being a director. It really does make me excited for the future.
In part two you see Kubrick on the floor checking a shot and giving direction based on his new idea. I see that and think, ‘hey that’s the kinda thing I do. Ok I am somewhere on the right track, I’m not being a kook’.
